Lieutenant P was chartered to transfer fuel to the generators on the new transition pieces. Initially working from Norddeich and later Borkum, the vessel proved itself to be very effective during the winter months. The crew lived aboard the vessel in Borkum and picked up the technicians at the hotel-ship Regina Baltica that was located in the wind farm. The vessel provided 100% availability to the customer, with no breakdowns.
During the same winter season, Master P was on charter to RWE to undertake fuel transfer from Cuxhaven to Nordsee Ost. This contract involved a passage to the work site of more than 50 nautical miles. The vessel performed flawlessly, regularly transferring up to 10,000 litres in a day in less-than-ideal weather conditions.
